I hadn't heard Aliens Ate My Buick in 25yrs and I was in a "record" store and I heard those first chords of "Budapest"-and started crying. I ran up to the cashier and she said it just came in, in the used cds, she had no idea what it was, and stuck it in. It's in my car!

Usually, I get disappointed by "remakes", even if those remakes are performed by the original artist. Remember Eagles Hotel California. They reunited and changed that famous guitar solo at the end. Ruined the whole song for me. Budapest by Blimp was one of my favorite songs. It was so dreamy. Many of his songs are dreamy. That's what I always like about Thomas Dolby. I started listening to this version and at first, I had some doubts, but the more I listened the more I liked it. Great performance.
