The great Thomas Dolby performs his classic, replacing "Science" with "Giants" in the beginning to help cheer the San Francisco Giants on to win the 2012 World Series. Obviously, his magic worked - Giants win!
The Band:
Thomas Dolby - Keyboards and vocals
Kevin Armstrong - Guitar and vocals
Mat Hector - Drums and vocals
Jeffrey Wash - Bass and vocals
Moogfest - October 27, 2012 at Thomas Wolfe Auditorium in Asheville, NC

That thing the science dude said, "As a known scientist, it would be a bit surprising if she blinded ME with science!", which is in the record, makes total sense in context now.

When I first heard "Flat Earth" album. I was changed. Thanks Tom

Matt Pannell My interest began when I saw a concert on TV. I bought the Flat Earth on cassette tape and nearly wore the thing out. I then bought the earlier Wireless album on cassette tape and went to the Flat Earth concert at the Birmingham Odeon, I bought a couple of 12 inch singles. Yes, I became...a fan. 😨

A bona fide musical genius. A singular, creative voice and totally uncompromising in his art and technological acheivements. OK. Let me get this out of the way. His "Science" : that one word in a loud exclamation actually made humanities' most profound achievements "sexy" again. It's stands as the only pop song to ever include that word.
