@@wuhaninstituteofvirology It's been at least twenty years now. When the league first started, dark jerseys were used for the home team like it is now but they changed it in the early 70s, then it got changed back in the early 2000s. Who knows, maybe they'll change it again by 2040?

I always find I'm good unless there's a wind. -25 C without a wind is perfectly fine, but when you have -25 C with a wind chill, the wind just sucks the heat right off your body.

It would be good to get Demko on the bench. He wants to start as the back up which seems like a good plan. Silvos needs to play and the Canucks need some players off the roster and cap. I don't understand why Mark Friedman is still up. He hasn't played and we bring up Cole Mcward. It doesn't look like either will play. With Saisons and Lekkerimäki back up it seems like a Hoglander trade is coming. Maybe they are waiting for Miller to return which seems like it might be sooner then later. Marcus Petterson is a good Dman, the only issue is we need a left side D. The left side is fine, when Fobert gets back which should be soon we will be stacked there and still have D Pettey. Depth on the rights side is an issue. Hronek is good but injured, Myers can be good but has limitations, juulsen is an excellent 7th guy. Desharnais has been absolutely brutal. They clealry dont trust Friedman enough to play him. Mcward has been developing well but who knows how he will do in the NHL.

the way i see it, the fact that team plays so much better on the road is an indictment against the Vancouver fanbase and media -- putting on too much pressure. In fact this is my leading theory as to why a Canadian team hasn't won the Cup in a statistically extremely unlikely long time. I love my team as much as anyone but you gotta give them room to breathe, know what i'm saying?

Why would Miller skating means he will be back soon ? He isn’t not playing because of a lower body injury. I would expect him to keep skating if he was only dealing with a mental health problem
