I graduated from TESU prior to them requiring that I take a max of 90 credits. I got a Bachelors with 119 credits in CLEP, DSST, and TECEP combined, then took the 3 credit capstone course. Now I am in law school. I mainly just wanted the piece of paper from somewhere accredited and then ultimately become an attorney.

Excellent baseline information on TESU. For those interested in up-to-date information and support from prior graduates at TESU and some other schools that fall into the 90 credits allowed to transfer in; Degreeforum is a version of this video on steroids. TESU, up until 2015, was an A+ option; however, as with some of the info shared in the video, the price has gone up a lot over these last 7 years. Best of luck to everyone tackling that degree - you can do it!

I'll be completing 15 credits through the Prior Learning Assessment Program and 3 credits with the Liberal Arts Capstone. They took all of my undergraduate credits from my 2 bachelor's degrees and 12 credits from my current master's program. Can graduates from TESU have the same chance getting accepted into Med school as other more well known state universities? I cant remember if i asked this on another video
@CollegeHackedАй бұрын
Med school apps depend on a lot more than the school you went to, but it’s definitely a factor. Wherever you go, it’s super important not to hack the core prereq requirements your chosen med school(s) wants to see and to take them residentially. Always check with your chosen programs to confirm what is acceptable and what’s not.

I have many associates degrees from attending my local cc. Would those credits transfer to TESU? Would hacking be less feasible or more so cause I just need to take some upper division courses?
@CollegeHacked2 жыл бұрын
It'd be a little bit more complicated but easier. First off, transferring credit is always a gamble because schools don't usually promise anything until you're there. But once you applied and got an evaluation, you would know what still needed to be hacked. It could totally work. Happy to help guide you through the process: collegehacked.com.

Im looking into either their Advanced BSN option, or their BS of Bus Admin - Ops Mgmt… I’m having the Garden State Guarantee pay for the final 4 semesters for me, as I have my AAS already. Is it feasible to do the BSBA on 4 semesters? Does anyone have any views or experiences with either the business program OR the ABSN?

Weird how I ended up on this page. One minute I was googling something for for my MLT program at UMA and then next thing I knew I was watching this guy's video about UMPI, which is also the school I go to for my MLT program, and I'm hearing all kinds of things I never knew about it and feeling like everyone's been keeping secrets for me and how I've been missing out on a wicked way to get extra school shit done. AND THEN, no joke, he starts talking about Thomas Edison University which is the school I just applied to this morning after a marathon research session. What I really came here to say though is their website says that it will take up your whole program if it comes from a four year college, so I really really hope that maybe they changed their minds again because in the end, that is the whole reason I picked it. Thank you for this video though! And the one about UMPI. What a neat concept and kinda crazy but so cool that my State College has implemented it.

Is this possible? I heard WGU only accepts Americans but what about UMPI or TESU? I have a German abitur which is equivalent to the IB if that matters.
