Try giving engines a spark (a certain voltage while their drive units turned on) if they don't run their dead, if they do, its good! :)

Btw the latest date on the bottom of the engine is the year that the engine was released 🙂 and Douglas is 1998 and Bill and Oliver are 1999 not the date u said for them, also they are rare

I was reading from the date code on the inside of the boiler/body.

@@TTTEoliverFan Thats a copyright/First year manufactured date. The actual age of the train is on the white square sticker on the inside. For instance: D8 = April 1998 C06 = March 2006 Later HIT toys had a different coding system, same with Fisher price and beyond.

@@Kublai1969 yes that’s true, Like with Douglas he was first released in 1998, but he was also rereleased in 2005 so the plastic is from 2005 and the first ever release year 1998, so technically we are both right 👍
