I glued the gear with epoxy. Hoping that it stays fixed.

See, in my case, I need to get the tender open. I got the coal off, the screws on the bottom undone, but it won't come off around the coupling area closest to the cab. (Where the speaker is) the outer shell is fine, so I don' wanna crack it... Any help with that?
