A well cared for, and well trained horse can be approached from behind by his rider though. You know that trick where you hop in the saddle from over his flank? I practiced that with my horse for a while. If he trusts you he can work with you.

@warrioroflight6872
@warrioroflight6872 Ай бұрын
Not quite 100%. For example, he says that "What hurts you today makes you stronger tomorrow." Obviously he's referring to the fact that it is adversity that hardens people and makes them able to withstand greater challenges, but there can be examples found of people who were only damaged rather than helped by the pain they suffered. Take Karl Marx for example. He was a complete fool by Jefferson's standards, and one of the ways he proved it was by the fact that the tragedies he suffered only made him increasingly bitter and cruel. Nothing about his painful life experience (most of it self-inflicted) made him a better person.

At 38 sec, is sage advice. Consider this when you happen to see "expert testimony" in congressional hearings. My colleagues could give a dissertation on some issue and I would end it quickly. Thomas Jefferson was widely believed to be one of the smartest people to be president. President Kennedy once said of Jefferson when hosting a dinner with prominent scientists in the Whitehouse that there assembled the most brain power to sit here since Thomas Jefferson ate alone.

And that was going into his FIRST election. Then demonstrated himself to be the worst president in the country's history with only his republican predecessor as competition for that title. Now, he's already crashing the stock market without even taking office yet and his plans when he takes office are guaranteed to crash the economy, a recession (like with every republican pres in the past 40 years has given the country) will be the best case scenario, though it is likely that a Second Great Depression will result.
