Thomas Kingston, Husband of Lady Gabriella, Dies Aged 45

Thomas Kingston, the husband of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent’s daughter Lady Gabriella Kingston, has died aged 45.
A Buckingham Palace spokesperson said: “The King and the Queen have been informed of Thomas’s death and join Prince and Princess Michael of Kent and all those who knew him in grieving a much-loved member of the family.”
"In particular, Their Majesties send their most heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Gabriella and to all the Kingston family."
Prince William unexpectedly withdrew from Tuesday's memorial service for King Constantine II of Greece due to an unspecified "personal matter", but it is believed that it was not connected to the news about Mr Kingston.

Prince Michael's mother was a Princess of Greece and Denmark, and all three Kent siblings made an effort to be there, including the eighty eight year old Duke of Kent and the wheelchair bound Princess Alexandra. Lord Frederick and his wife weren't there either, and they usually would have been, so I suspect that it was Lord Frederick who spent time with his sister while their parents were at the service. It's also quite possible that Lady Gabriella, who was quite close to her godfather, asked her parents to go on her behalf as well as theirs.
