------‐--- Perhaps there has been someone who has commented something similar, I have not read all the comments. But, in my opinion, it is admirable to compare how Thomas soundchecks his drum set, of course amazing sound and playing, and then to see how he plays another drum set with different owner and playing style, while Simon admire his creation and check the sound. If you care about the small details, notice at 1:41 the drill holes for the mounting hardware for the legs at the bottom of the two largest rack toms before the gong drum. They are also visible later from another angle. So, I guess Tama was like: "Mr. Phillips, it is not possible to have rack toms this big!" And Simon Phillips was like: "Hold my beer!" :) :) :) All jokes aside - great sounding instruments played by great players.
