Thomas Penn was born in 1974. Studying English at Oxford University, he first encountered the strange, seductive world of Henry VII through the writing of the Tudor poet John Skelton. Having gained a PhD in early Tudor history from Cambridge University in 2001, he moved to London, where he works in publishing and remains immersed in the late fifteenth and early sixteenth centuries. Winter King: The Dawn of Tudor England, his first book, was about Henry VII received great critical acclaim.

I wish I had your eloquence, your documentary on Timeline is the best i'd seen, Snow and Starkey and the feminists bbc adore are no where near as engaging, and ruled by their own egos, you are the opposite., i wish there were more to view of yours.
