Thomas the Trainz Engine Ep 45: Crosspatch

I never thought I'd be able to adapt more of "Very Old Engines", but thanks to Camscott for creating his version of Skarloey and Rheneas without cabs, I've finally been able to do it. So here's the first part of the book at long last. Hope you enjoy it.
Skarloey tells Nancy the story of how he first came to Sodor. His arrival wasn't the best experience he's had, and he certainly wasn't always the wise old sage he is now.
Note: All audio belongs to HIT Entertainment and all models and routes belong to SI3D, Wildnorwester, and Camscott, therefore, I own nothing.
And no, I did NOT reskin Skarloey and Rheneas to look like Talyllyn and Dolgoch; they were edited in post-production with Paint.net.

skarloey’s backstory is a bit similar to sir handel when they both came to sodor they were rude and cocky and were punished when refused to pull trucks and when let out again we’re screwed over by the coaches they really have a lot in common.

Are those talyllyn and dolgoch models actually models or are they reskins

They're neither. They're basically Skarloey and Rheneas' cabless models, but recolored in post-production. If i had actually reskinned it, their models' creator would kill me, and he did make a big deal about it when he saw what i had done, until i set the record straight with him (although he could've been more polite about it rather than demanding it like he controlled the site).

FantasticMrS yeah that's the problem with model creators these days they have no respect they should be more gratefull their models are being used jeez just because they made models doesn't mean they have to brag or be a hypocrite and shove down our throats and shout it down eardrums or order people about like mindless druids or clones any who is he,she or they darth vader from start wars ha lol XD still they can't use that as a excuse to be rude to nice people like you my friend (:)

U said it, Devran. I mean, I get it; they put a lot of hard work into their models and they don't want anyone to mess with that, and I respect their wishes through and through. But they have no right to be such a dick about it to anyone that goes against their wishes. I mean, I once made one of WildNorWester's model loadable without his permission, but at least when he let me off with a warning, he was polite about it.

You missed pronounced Rheneas. It’s pronounced Ra-(like in raw) neigh-us.

That wasn't me narrating; that audio came from an audio book read by Willie Rushton, as stated in the opening credits. And this was recorded long before Rheneas made his TV series debut, so that's just how he pronounced it at the time.

+camscott You seem to be mistaken; those models were not reskinned; I would NEVER do such a thing. They were photoshopped, but not very well, if you look more closely at them. Sorry for not making that clear.
