Anyways my comment was about how players can be individually better with the Tuchel way. Take Mason Mount he could be a better player than Sterling a better performer for england because he can play in multiple situations whereas sterling is still used to the city way. Of course Mount will need to grow as a player and improve as sterling is top class(not world class).

I agree but system players are players that can only play in specific systems, such as Marcos Alonso who can only play as a wing-back in a back 3/5. Big teams need individual players that can play in any system or in any style of play. Chelsea have a few players that are very limited, like Jorginho who can only do well if the team dominates possession because he doesn't have the pace or stamina to be defending and running like Kante.

This exactly how I think Football, when he did the interview. The thing I never liked by ball possession is the same loop that will make the team predictable so other teams can adapt to our play. The way I think Football is making the players adapting to the opposition. All teams are different. You have to make way for the player to open spaces by analysing the team in the pitch!

Personally I really really liked super Frankie, he's a really intelligent person and you could see that from his games. I think where he was lacking was in managerial experience, you could see that he learnt from each game and wouldn't make similar mistakes, and given time would have created a world class team. The problem is that Chelsea isn't a club where you're given that time, we demand at the very least European football every season. If he had experience managing even just three or four clubs previously I think he wouldn't have made some of the mistakes he did and this odd season didn't help him any. I wish him well in his future jobs and hope to see him once more coaching the club he became a legend at one day down the line once he's more experienced.

Excellent! I would add some things: 1. Tuchel can "invent" new roles like Neymar no.10 at PSG, so I guess he'll make a team full of talent click. I guess We could see Ziyech playing mor central and a bit further from the final third ( in the attacking phase), Reece James and Chilwell prodviding width, Tammy Abraham ( or Giroud) providing aerial threat, a target man option, link-up play, drop off to offer Werner space to run behind the defence 2. Jorginho orchestrting the build up 3. Havertz could be used as a false No.9 as well 4. His ability to convince players to play for the team (just as he convinced Neymar to play further from the goal and contribute more defensively) As for disadvantages, Tuchel could face a problem with the defence (because they don't have the speed to stop counter attacks), and fullbacks (since Reece James and Chilwell basically have no competition, with Marcos Alonsi likely to leave and Azpilicueta being used as a CB most of the time)

bro ,the TRUE sarri-ball is what you see when Lampard came in .Our players need time to adapt sarri ball ,we played well when lampard came in because the players already adapt to it ,kovacic-jorginho pairing .Lampard ruined it because of his rotations (the midfield especially) ,you can see our form is going downward at the end of season ,we got lucky to finish 4th .Lampard real tactics is this season which he failed miserably .

Right here months after Chelsea won the UCL and broke the Bournemouth curse with Tuchel at the helm. You know it just dawned on me - Chelsea has signed a football chessmaster, a football philosopher. This guy can write books on excellent football coaching and management. I mean, listening to him speak you can tell he has contemplated those words, practicalized them and found results. Tbf, if it is only club politics that Tuchel gets into arguments with the board with, then he may actually be fine with our board. The reason people like Mourinho and Conte got so angry at the board, was because they wanted more control over transfers and have more influence in club politics. Meanwhile, Abrahmovic wants a coach who is successful and just focuses on football.

I’ve not followed this guys career much but hearing him talk in the university interview was fascinating. It’s clear he’s very tactically astute, so it should be interesting to see what he can do with the squad Lampard has built. The tools are definitely there, I hoped Frank would get the time to sort things himself but it wasn’t to be. I just hope Tuchel will keep faith in the youngsters like Gilmour.

Thank you Nouman for the insightful video 🌟 However Tuchel talked of a double 6 to get the best out of Kante But in the video you've talked of how he uses a 4-3-3 so I am intrigued to see how Tuchel will implement that and so will Kante drop deep to cover as the 'third' Centre Back? Interesting to see how Havertz and Mount can develop under Tuchel and hopefully Werner to enjoy similar success to Aubameyang under Tuchel. Plus you forgot to add that Lampard wasn't sacked for strictly tactical issues but rather club politics which hopefully will cope with and he won't have as many tactical issues as Lampard so that is an advantage. Overall excited for the new era 👍🏾

Him wanting to be only coach is tailor made for Chelsea as Marina and the board are the ones who call the shots on Transfers. Conte and Sarri both had the same problem. They wanted control on transfers and that eventually got them sacked. With Tuchel, he only wants to coach the current and develop young players. I think he's the perfect fit.

One issue I heard about with Lampard was that Marina and co didn't like that he was so aggressive with wanting to go after certain players when ultimately that's Marina's say. Tuchel just wanting to coach could be a boon for the board because Chelsea have an organized system where everyone has a certain job. Tuchel acting solely as a coach could actually make Chelsea's organization operate more efficiently. I'd of loved to see Lampard take Chels back to european glory but I definitely like the Tuchel decision.

I’m kinda sceptical about this method. If you look at all the teams that dominated football had a strong identity and a certain system combined with a certain type of play. Italian teams with the catenaccio, pep’s Barca with tiki taka, and Spain national team, klopp and liverpool etc.. I feel like a coach is supposed to adapt to the players he possesses or bring a certain type of players who could fit in his system, but being that flexible may not be viable unless you have top top wc players on your team. But let’s see what he brings to the table
