Thomas has Bubbles on him this year for the DOWT Bubble Tour!! Thomas was leaving Strasburg Railroad for a Day Out With Thomas event. Another Thomas Dummy Unit was getting a wash down. Also featuring N&W 475 pulling coaches on 4-17-2024

That one actually went to Heritage Park in Calgary in Canada. You can tell the dummy units apart this year, the color/bubble pattern is different on at least three of the standard gauge units.

​@@matthewlasewicz3083That's so cool! I figured someone had to figure out the difference in them. I've seen two together this year (not including BEDT 15 Thomas) but couldn't get close enough to see their patterns. Thanks for sharing!

I got a question why does Strasburg have that dummy Thomas unit? I know they have their operating one (the BEDT) but why is there a dummy one? Does Strasburg make all the dummy’s for all the different railroads?

They have maybe 3 Dummy Units (not certain) and then their actual steam Thomas. They also have the Percy Dummy and they send them to the Day Out With Thomas events! I didn't know they sent their steam Thomas out!

@toomuchtoby1 @zearfossrailfan Strasburg Made the dummy units, this inculdes Percy, that you see at other DOWT events across the United States and Canada. Strasburg also ships out BEDT 15 to go to The Henry Ford Mueusm in Detroit, Michigan and is the only other place the BEDT 15 operates for DOWT. Strasburg even helped make the Narrow Gauge Thomas units you see at Tweetsite or Edaville (when Thomas Land Was Still open).
