I've been attempting to build this layout, and I have had some trouble in getting some pieces together, and I am not surprised that you brought up that there were a lot of impossible areas. I've been using ThomasTankMerch's images for reference, but even then, I had a lot of trouble. I am still going to try to recreate it as much as possible, but then make some changes to improve how the layout plays out.

Actually, Henrietta was made in 1993 along with the other items of that year. She was discontinued in 1996 which is why she wasn't in the yearbook or on the layout.

That video was very captivating. Moreover to the nice-looking aspect of the layout, it made me want to built one on my own, despite the several challenging spots. Such a cool feeling. The overuse of risers reminds me a lot of the Ultimate Island of Sodor layout from the 2006 yearbook, that was definitely the set I dreamed of when I was a child. Would be interesting to see you recreating it haha, even though it requires even more specific numbers of accessories than the one from the 1998 yearbook.

The layout itself is kinda impractical in a couple areas where they clearly wanted as much track per space as possible. But that’s sensible since they wanted to cram every inch of those pages with product potential.

This kind of layout was the dream of every kid who owned Thomas Wooden Railway back in 1998. I know it was mine. If I were to build a layout like that (which I can't really, given I don't have all the right pieces), I would mostly likely resort to having to use track and accessories from other brands, like BRIO and Melissa and Doug. I admit that's what I've done when I built layouts based on those from the yearbooks from the 90's. Given the sheer absurdity of this layout such as tracks structured like a roller coaster and the engines pulling all sorts of bizarre trains, it may very well have served as the inspiration for the fantasy sequence in Season 22's "Forever and Ever", One last note, Henrietta was released in 1993, but discontinued in 1996.
