As a Canadian I never heard of it. Exclusively dip Cope snuff. I’ll bet that tin cost around $50 Canadian. The tax stamp is terrible to cut through with a fingernail. Great review

I just heard about this being the only flavoured dip we still have up here. I just thought it was a different kind of natural or straight cut. But sells for just under $34 a tin at the Co-Op in Virden, MB.

The date stamp is the production week of the year. So therefore the 3rd week of January 2024. That value can be 0-52/xx

I’m Canadian as you know old buddy…I never ever had seen this. I made it with a mix of citrus and apple Skoal once and wasn’t too impressed. Cool to see so many fellow Canadian folk in the comments!

Love to see you reviewing our terrible packaging. Fun note on the French as a Québécois. Most of us speak English and work internationally. The French is a left over "go do this to yourself" from the 70s when Ottawa kept blocking our laws around privatization. There are some backwoods people who believe it's "for the language" however Québécois Joual French is about 25% english anyways. They can get by fine once they finally remove the training wheels.

I dipped crisp blend a lot back 10 years ago or more. Wasn’t bad but was just a blend of apple and citrus. You can make it if you want but it gets old fast. Had rich blend too but didn’t care for it much.

Nice review stdcg . I tried citrus once . The WORST 🤢 If Canada has anymore flavors that USA don’t carry I’d love to see more reviews like this. Take care.

Question, did you know that back in the day, Skoal actually used to be in NASCAR, known as the Skoal Bandit car? Not to bore you with a lot of NASCAR history, but Harry Gant made the sponsor iconic in NASCAR, even being the oldest driver to date to win a NASCAR Cup Series race in 1992 at the age of 52 with this same sponsor. I'm just quite curious.

That's how I got introduced to dip. My older cousins were into 80s-90s NASCAR and Baseball, a time when dip was gaining popularity and sports like those mentioned had a big influence on it, hence why my cousins became dippers. They gave me my first dip at 11 years old ... didn't touch it again until 24 years later.

meanwhile, me living in canada, not being able to find this anywhere.... So happy to see you review canadian dip. I think you really need to try Canadian SNUS, Colts Snus - its made by a swedish company exclusively for the canadian market. Would love to send one out to you.
