One little detail I never really noticed in this film before is that the Sharptooth is blind in one eye. As a kid I noticed that he at times had one of his eyes closed, but I never paid attention to the fact that it was always the same eye, his right one, which you never see open. That has some pretty important implications. A predator that is blind in one eye struggles to gauge distance (depth perception depends on at least two eyes to work) and consequently can easily get too close to a defensive weapon of a prey species, let alone misjudge the distance to lunge in an attack. That may be why Sharptooth struggled to land hits throughout the whole film.

That was a large bite at the back of Mama Longneck the Apatosaurus. And also had a gash in her neck. She had no place to dodged the sharptooth.

I don't know if trexes can pshyically do it or not but maybe he got down on one knee like humans do to get a closer look at stuff on the ground

He have only one eye

Actually he's got 2 eyes one is shut most of the time because the thorn went in it. Also if you look closer at his scenes the eye that is shut sometimes it is open.

Yes he got hurt from the thorns so he got one eyes now just like one eye from speckles the tarbosaurus movie.

To be honest, not directly. It is the name littlefoot and his friends gave him but I think they called every carnivorous dinosaur sharptooth if I remember correctly.
