Do you get observed and offsted inspections? I was a TA in the UK too and one thing that put me off teacher training was being observed like all the time. It's a lot of pressure..in my role now in Spain it's kind of like a mix between a TA and TEFL. Interesting to draw comparasions. Teachers in Spain don't usually have TAs and some schools are open until 5pm, so like 9/9.30-5 with lunch between 1-3. There's actually a huge demand for British qualified experienced teachers, especially after Brexit. It's just that salaries are generally a lot lower than other countries and saving is difficult
