Oregon State UPSETS #1 USC - High Quality - Part 2 - 9/25/08

Highlights from the second half of the Beavers 27-21 win over the #1 ranked USC Trojans from Reser Stadium. First win over a #1 team since the Giant Killers 3-0 victory over the OJ Simpson led Trojans... giant killers again.

I cannot even begin to explain how insane it was inside Reser Stadium... on the Laybourne INT everyone was jumping on top of everyone else, I was hugging people I didn't know... it was insane. Just an amazing game.

I've been a Beaver fan all of my life, and my family is season ticket holders, and ever since the 2000 season (as far back as I can remember) I've seen a lot of great moments. But still to this day I've never heard Reser Stadium louder than when Greg got that interception. I was hugging random people next to me, tears of joy out of my eyes, just an amazing moment.

My Dad had on field passes to this game with his friend, and I remember walking out of the mall at seven years old telling my mom that we were ahead by 21 at halftime and she didn't believe me. We rushed home and watched the greatest finish of all time. This game is legendary, Go Beavs

I always love that we are underdogs cause everyone always counts us out. So when ranked teams come in and just are like "oh it's just the beavers we will walk all over them" is when we come out and do this. U$C's best recent teams -- 2006-2009 -- had an Oregon hex on them. Starting with the 33-31 shock job by the Beavers in '06, U$C went 0-4 in games played in the state of Oregon, and about 46-2 in games played anywhere else. That's why they never got back to the BS -- er, BCS -- national championship game after losing 41-38 to Vince Young. Love them Beavs! Mike Riley is a winner. If you can win at OSU you can win anywhere.

Far different than what I expected. I was really impressed with how outstanding Sanchez played. He probably played the best game of his life. However, Penn State was able to move the ball against that defense. After seeing how Great USC is, this is my final rankings: 1. USC 2. Florida 3. Utah 4. Oklahoma 5. Alabama 6. Penn State 7. lol, we'll see if that's true when you face my Nittany Lions in the Rose Bowl. That USC defense is nasty. Very MASSIVE and FAST -- faster than PSU's defense even. However, the offense looks to be quite inefficient at times, plagued with lots of turnovers.

laugh all you want. The Beavers love being the underdog, they feed on it. Its more of a laugh that a team like Oregon State can beat a team that has 4-5 star recruits every year. I'm not saying the Beavers are better, USC wins 9/10 most likely but give respect where respect is due. You should be more worried about Cal, Oregon, and Oregon State, those teams can give USC a run for there money. Ohio State fans have no right to talk about "choking" seeing as they haven't won a big game since what, 2002? Ohio State has since lost to Texas (at the Horseshoe), USC (away), Florida, LSU, USC again (home), Penn State (home), Illinois, Texas again (fiesta bowl) etc etc etc. OHIO STATE CHOKES EVERY YEAR.
