In my opinion you’re the best photographer/KZbinr there’s is. Your passion and charisma for photography is an inspiration for many. You’re actually the reason I bought my first DLSR. It’s also thanks to you I’m off to Asia for a month on a photography trip! It’s something I’d never have done if it wasn’t for your videos. So for that I thank you. Cheers :)

"The Best on KZbin" He has some great BRoll and has passion, but it is a stretch to say he is the best...there are many photographers on KZbin that don't tell as good a story, but they have been at it for many years! I wouldn't slight them!

I went to this location last year for sunrise, I arrived in total darkness not realising or checking the tides. I was stranded on the island for hours (to be fair I could have got my feet wet to get back) which gave me the opportunity to explore this little gem. I initially went to photograph the lighthouse but this magical place has so much more to offer.....I will return. Great work Thomas always an inspiration.

Your accent makes everything so much better. And the fact that you're a one man job is just brilliant. The way you do double the work of taking a shot and then Going back to get the camera. That is just so inspiring and motivates me so much. Thanks man. Love your work 😍. I'd like if you'd put some badass intro's with awesome B-Roll. Like Peter McKinnon. That'd be just amazing.

Terrific photo. You always seem to make the best out of bad weather. I really like this video's shot; the waves dragging along the sand and the dark and somber sky gives it a gloomy feeling. Yet, the tinge of yellowish sky in the corner, and the small white pebbles poking through the sand give a hope of something trying to "break though". Anyways, that's my subjective take on it. Great work! After watching your videos and seeing how you perfect your craft, I finally decided to invest in a set of used Lee filters. I'm quite pleased with them so far, just tinkering around with them in my backyard. I am looking forward to getting out and doing some proper landscape photos with them soon. I'll have to purchase the Lee landscape circular polarizer at some point too.

I have a question about those Lee filters - and please, anyone answer as I am aware how busy Thomas is . I currently own the Cokin P series and they are a pain. I can't shoot with a wide angle lens (no one at the store informed me about needing the WA version but they sold me the adapter ring for my wides) or into any kind of light (flaring is horrid) and it casts a rather ugly magenta hue. Is that a problem with all filters or just the Cokins?

Can’t believe you went to that beach and didn’t visit the lighthouse that’s on Llandwyn Island! It’s a goodun!
@timothy-mcgaw6 жыл бұрын
It's really hard to visit Llanddwyn Bay and not just walk out to Tŵr Mawr. Yeah it's a cliche and it's been done to death, but it is such a classic shot that it's too tempting to resist. I've been there twice and both times contemplated going for something else, but it just feels rude to ignore the lighthouse. The only upside is that at least you will always walk away with something different most times, because the conditions are never the same.
