Just came across a podcast last night as I couldn't sleep, Jesus Calling and it really amazed me. I am asking for prayers from whoever reads my message, my brother is struggling from kidney failure. Thank you and God bless us all.

Every word this young lady says is absolute TRUTH!!! I myself, a 73 year old Canadian lady struck down in January of ‘19 with a rare neurological disorder that has me now facing partial paralysis soon, have learned the JOYS of God allowing this crippling disease to strike me!! God is being glorified through my brokenness!! That alone makes my suffering MORE than worth it!! HALLELUJAH!!! While in one of the two hospitals I was admitted to in the beginning of the year I led a fellow patient to Christ. My faith has grown so much STRONGER as I’ve gone through these past nine months of suffering which has been progressively worsening each & every day! I KNOW NO FEAR......because I can’t think of one reason why I shouldn’t trust God!! He has always looked after me......even before I turned to Christ in faith!! It’s been this debilitating disease which has led me to fully comprehend & praise God for this FREEDOM from fear!! THANK YOU JESUS!!! ❤️ 🇨🇦

I am experiencing God more intimately as God is allowing this stage 4 pancreatic cancer. I am so grateful, God gets my attention; otherwise, I would have continued to live for myself which would have led me to eternal destruction. Nothing is better to be in the presence of God here on earth and later in eternity. Life is precious indeed, but do not overvalue life on earth as if it is everything we have and nothing more.

Laura..God is shaping his people ... to get us out of the world...taking each of us through valleys, darkness... so we can be newly molded for his glory....not through our knowledge, doing good works... just to BE (saw Joni and you @ 2019 conference today) molded, shaped, used...this comes also from seeing Passion City Church Atlanta's message (part of series Glory in the Grind) and this beautiful couple who are being molded and wrote a book Suffer Strong...Thank you for sharing God's molding message for us! This is the fragrance that God will work in each of our lives! We are all given "wrestle with God" seasons that bring about his works.

I loved your message as I have loved your song, Blessings. It has led me through many dark times, but always I have hope in a loving Savior, who leads me. I hope to teach a class in 2020 in my church using your book and lessons to help us all grow. May God continue to bless you, Martin, and your family. My wife and I were blessed several years ago when you gave your testimony and concert in Portland, Oregon.

Laura...You have inspired me for years in your words, faith and definitely your music. I've been blessed several times by seeing you play in upstate, NY. I've read your book and share your pain w/Martin. I also embrace what your kids have done in your life. They bring great joy. I'm really glad that you're coming out with a new album. I had a feeling that you were gonna be another gifted musician that fades off into the sunset because of your priorities of the kids and Martin. You have a god given gift Laura. Don't let it go to waste. You are as beautiful inside as you are out...I just know it! I've seen it firsthand too many times to be wrong. God Bless you and your family.

Hey Laura, I love you and greatly appreciate your music, I read a comment below me that stated God is good to the Good people, unfortunately either they are young or life for some reason has been easy. Not so with me and many of us followers of Christ. “There is none good no not one”.

I LOVE your video here, Laura! It was well-done and it's really neat to get a feel for what is on your mind! However, I was HOPING you might have considered using the King James Bible (KJV 1611) for your study. It is ALL I will touch and I LOVE how the words flow in the KJV! Just the same, I appreciate that you are trying to be a Godly woman and teach people the Bible, Laura, but I thought I would bring this up, as it was on my mind to say! I look forward to seeing all of these sessions of yours! TO GOD BE THE GLORY! :-)

The word “death” should be explained to someone who doesn’t yet have a personal relationship with Jesus as not meaning “death” in the traditional sense,.....but that it actually refers to a permanent separation from God. An unbeliever won’t realize that although the body God gives us is mortal,....we eventually “step out of” this mortal body & will live for eternity.....either in heaven.....or in hell. We need not fear “death”.....or anything else. We can be free from fear of everything. Fear is telling God we don’t trust Him.

Laura, no doubt, is sincere and obviously well spoken. But she said God isn't obligated to give us anything for "being good." Yet Scripture plainly teaches, "Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good" (Psalm 125:4). And again, "For the Lord preserveth the faithful, and plentifully rewardeth the proud doer" (Psalm 31:23). Laura also said "Life will be hard." But she never pointed out WHY and to WHOM life is hard. "But the way of transgressors is hard" (Proverbs 13:15). Life is only hard to those who are, in some way, living in transgression to the Word of God. So many loving Christians who attempt to exegete God's Word but end up promulgating an Americanized version of Christianity rather than what the Word of God really teaches.

So which is it ... ? Just being honest here ... sometimes (like she said) our life experiences don't align with the stories of the bible. Seems like a contradiction ... the apostles died for spreading the gospel. But in Psalms David says he has never seen the righteous begging bread. How do we resolve this? She is right, sometimes I feel cheated. I want to be open and honest in order to resolve this apparent contradiction.
@masterprophet83788 жыл бұрын
Diffgeo, my friend, the apostles' deaths were due to martyrdom which is entirely different from dying because we did not maintain a healthy diet or lacked the knowledge on how to heal from an infectious disease. The power of an authentic Christian life has been so watered down today that it literally ignores countless Scriptures which reveal a Christian life to be a life of POWER. "No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper" (Isaiah 54:17).
@deborahkoenig73458 жыл бұрын
so according to your beliefs, Jesus died a horrible death because of his transgression to the world of God. What you are preaching is false. We and you cannot understand the mind of God and his master plan. We are all sinners, who are only here by his grace, we do not earn it.
@57andstillkicking7 жыл бұрын
Master Prophet What you have written is not true. Jesus said, " In this life you will have trouble, but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world". In James 1 it says to rejoice in the midst of the trials. 1Peter says the same thing. Satan brings trials and God brings us through them. This is what the Word of God teaches.
@casselliny6 жыл бұрын
To say that life isnt hard even for a christian is not biblical. God allows even us to suffer at times. Why else would the bible talk of trails.

I have a question for you I'm reading the Bible and is lesbian against God you said you had a wife and you guys can't get pregnant because I was gay and I Found Jesus and I gave up everything that was against God in my life I was just wondering no judgment just a question

What I post is not Joel Osteen. It is reality. God wants us to move and have a positive atitude, not a loser type atitude. Losers seldom get what they ask from Our Lord and Savior.
@markgifford40345 жыл бұрын
The wages of sin is death, yes. You have great faith, but to wait for eternity for a better life is simplistic. It is not that easy. People are poor their entire and have other bad things happen. It is not that easy. A person must have hope and keep trying to change their predictament( s). It is God'' s Will when tragedy or hardship arrives is polyannish. Hope, prayer, action is the answer and faith and trust in God. Don' t just focus on Heaven, that is a little ways off, sorry.
