I was; but, it's okay that a lot of people who weren't back then, are now. Well, I've loved country music since I was about 10. It's probably in my blood. My dad was a cowboy from the country...Louisiana. He loved going to rodeos, hunting, fishing, driving 18 wheelers. So, I was listening before it was cool, though I'm still a "city" girl.

Root are roots! How well this strikes a chord notwithstanding the fact that I am an Indian. American country songs, simplicity of the people who follow that culture, closeness to the nature, affection for fellow people, simple music, beautiful strung together word play. It's a ride do a different world altogether. Indebted to American country artists. They help me close the day in another world that's simple, beautiful, natural and serene ❤️
