Hi. Great tutorial. Very well explained and close up clear pictures. I have a babylock vesta and im wanting to do a applique, my question is, do you have a video showing details on doing an applique using only my machine. Meaning I don’t have to download anything from a usb and still do applique. Whether it’s picture or letters. Thanks.

In the meantime, if you have questions about a particular stitch, your instruction manual has a full glossary of all the stitches the machine can do (starts on page 49), and a brief description of what the stitch would be used for.

I cannot locate a stylus that says it is guaranteed to work with the Flare. I see that one does because you are using one! I would appreciate knowing which one you have. I have seen two different BL stylus”. One is less than 10 dollars and one is more than 50 dollars. Which one do you have please? Thank you.

Can you upload your own fonts to this machine?

Hi there, you can purchase embroidery fonts and upload them to the machine via USB or wirelessly through Design Database Transfer software. The file format you need for a Baby Lock embroidery machine is PES.
