The first song I ever heard from Blind Guardian in mid 90's - and still my favourite! ...Also one of the first songs I wanted to learn to play on drums - so many hours spent in my parents' garage banging the drums. Our neighbours were happy, for sure, hah. Btw. did you drop a stick at 2:20ish? I love it as you kept the take, much more authentic feel!

For me the two best speed metal or power metal drummers are Dan (Zimmermann) and Thomen...I understand it's hard to keep that speed...I love the sound of the snare drum...
