I use the big boy 2000 and the katanaboy 500 as my go to saws in the forest , they are amazing saws for sure.

Great vid. You are only supposed to cut on the pull stroke with these saws. The blades are expensive as you know. That will avoid bending the blade.

My issue is. When my saw build up on sap. I wonder what would be the best way to clean it in the woods? Would ash work with warm water?

A lot safer than swinging an axe I think. I mean the axe is safe if you know what you are doing and has it's place for sure but I wherever you can use a saw you should for safety.

По манере движений видно - пилить японским зубом «к себе» вы не умеете. Вперёд движение в холостую. Назад вгрызаетесь в древесину. Только так она будет работать.
