That arc did more harm to Galactus than anything I've seen yet. Thor casually punching down on Galactus for 5-6 issues straight, and then casually killing a SUPER Galactus at the end was, while fun to look at, nauseating from a storytelling POV. I sorta like the concept, but the entire execution was just a Thor masturbation session. Should've introduced a new galactus like being with the Black Winter or something IMO.
