I overall preferred what we got, but I wish they had kept the following elements: -Odin's words explicitly acknowledging Loki as a son -Odin's transferring of his power to Thor -Loki's more visceral reaction to Odin dying

Whilst I agree, I don't think it's the right time for Thor to have the power of Odin. Specially since he would've gone to sakar and been at the mercy of a small electric device which is already hard to believe stuns a thunder god. Plus they haven't explained or gone into the depths of Odin's power the way I've heard it exist in the comics, perhaps that's coming later. Now that Thor realises he isn't just powerful because of his weapon it'll hopefully be better too.

@@TenguXil Marvel has actually announced a Thor 5 ("Godfall") coming in 2027, but we barely know anything about it yet and apparently neither do they. Evidently we'll have Loki at least one more time, though his story looks pretty complete as is; and maybe we can round out some of these lingering bits of lore with Thor.
@TenguXil

@@micmacha with the current state of marvel we can only hope they get to that point and actually do it some justice. Love and thunder really needed a toning down on the comedy sides in my opinion, though I'm not sure what else they can do for him. They've a shopping list of things he's lost already, perhaps he needs an arc where he's finally ready to take the mantle of king and protect the realms. He failed to do that when Thanos snapped which irked me, maybe the entity that became the kid has some intentions or it'll be to do with eternals/celestials. Who knows :D

This scene was deleted because it doesn't make sense for the following reasons: 1-Hela couldn't escape her banishment while Odin is still alive since it was his life that was keeping her locked away in the first place. 2-Hela couldn't possibly kill Odin because he's far more powerful than her considering he defeated her when she was at full power when he banished her. Odin actually giving Thor his King Power (as in, the Odinforce) makes every other scene where a character makes a vague reference to Thor's new found power more sensible. Every spike in power Thor has relates to him having a vision of his father, Valkyrie after seeing Thor's fight with the Hulk says him and Hela get their power from Asgard and so on. It's kinda weird we didn't get something akin to this more visible transference of power, but I suppose in the comics when the same happens Odin just dies and Thor suddenly has his powers too.

I wish we combined elements from this scene and the one we got. I liked that his death was what led to Hela being released instead of her just breaking out. But I also would have liked the interaction between Odin and Hela, perhaps he senses his time draws near and decides to pay her a visit to try to convince her once she is free to give up her cruelty and stand by his two sons. I would have liked him to grant Thor his power just before he fades away. And I would have liked Loki to have a more nuanced reaction to Odin's death. I still liked that he gently passed on and that it didn't end with homeless Odin in an alleyway.

This is the prophecy about the second coming of Jesus Zechariah 13:7 “Awake, sword, against my shepherd, against the man who is close to me!” declares the LORD Almighty. “Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered, and I will turn my hand against the little ones. The Shepherd here is Jesus. John 10:11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. This is the fulfillment of the prophecy. Matthew 26:31 Then Jesus told them, “This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: “’I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’ This happened near 30 to 33 AD. Hosea 6:1-2 Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence. In prophecies 1day is equal to 1000 years. Which means after two thousand years Jesus will return again. And on the third day which is the 3rd millennium, we will live in his sight. We all know we cannot see God's face and live on Earth. So it's the second coming of Jesus. Luke 21:11 ► There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. Matthew 24:6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. We are the witnesses of all these things. From the death of Jesus to 2030 - 2033 there are 2000 years. Jesus is coming soon. Let's all repent and turn from our old ways and turn to the Lord. Praise the Lord. Peace and Love to you all Easter is pagan, the resurrection day of the Lord is correct and please stop taking the Lord's name in vain like saying omg or using it with a bad word or taking it in anyway that is in vain. Even the devil trembles in his name and we shouldn't use the powerful name like that. For the people who says Jesus is not God here's a verse. Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Everlasting Father?. There's your answer The whole world will turn against Israel and not just Palestinians. Then know the end is near. the one in the movie is more beautiful to watch, but for some reason I find this version more appropriate, more real-life gritty, because often its when we / someone we know hit rock bottom that they realize the life lessons and appreciate their blessings. you can see a sampling of these with the wonderfully acted scenes between Chris, Tom and Sir Anthony. being in a stinky alley doesn't mask the fact that in the end, Odin becomes human and fully realizes what it's like, why both Thor and Loki has affinity for Midgard. remember Odin was so condescending of humans in Thor2, I'm pretty sure there were more Odin scenes as an old man around Earth, would've loved to have seen that so that he would at least have a character arc.

So THIS is the scene they used in the teaser trailer! Very interesting, also judging from how polished the effect were in the trailer they had it in consideration until the very end, or maybe they used it as decoy, something like they did in the Infinity War trailer. Either way, it’s cool to see an alternative version, this definitely has a few elements that I prefer over the final one

What really irked me about this scene was the part where Odin explains to Loki that he inherited certain traits from him even though Loki is not Asgardian but a Frost Giant's child. This scene is just as powerful as the one we got in the movie - but Odin never transferred his power to Thor in that scene like in this one, it would have made more sense. This scene would’ve been great in the movie, but it would’ve heavily altered Thor’s visions of Odin when he was fighting the hulk and his melee with Hela. Instead of a groomed, earthly Odin found on Norway (ironically where Norse mythology traces back to btw) we would’ve had a broken, deranged man gratuitously advising Thor to awaken his true power from within.

God bless you all Please spread this message to the ends of the world. I'm starting a KZbin channel within 1 month, which will be focused on different Bible topics, so consider subscribing

If you were a fan of the incredibly sublime Loki series, you may have had questions about how he got his powers. This clip shows that some Loki variants had Infinity Stones placed within them by Odin, and whether He Who Remains was one of this group is irrelevant because it seems he has the power of any variant that got close to this pinnacle. You can see the various colors and powers of each Infinity Stone represented in Loki's new Yggdrasil as well as the physical aspects to his ethereal throne. You can see all the colors of the Infinity Stones streaming at and through him on the gangway. He is a living Infinity Gauntlet and a Living Loom who can overwrite previous realities, pruning some and protecting others, with sheer willpower, and this video tells us how he pulled it all off. Odin tells him "the stones within you, you inherited from me", which also explains why in previous movies, the Infinity Gauntlet in Odin's treasure room has no stones. His magic and that of the Stones had been suppressed in the TVA, and as soon as he left that door, he had all of that power within him.
