The whole thing about the blueberries that was actually from what I heard something that Robert Downey Jr had as a must in his contract. It was his way of staying healthy and away from his addictions, so he required healthy snacks on the sets in between takes and even while they were doing takes hence why it was in that type of bag.

The Shawarma scene was added when they were doing post reshoots. If you look at Chris Evans he's purposely hiding the bottom half of his face. This is because Chris was in the process of filming Snowpiercer & had a full beard.

To maintain his Cap look, He had to wear a prosthetic lower jaw here. And it wasn't 100% perfect, on top of it he wasn't comfortable chewing anything with it on, so rather sat quietly holding his face!!!

It just takes too long to make money with character development. If they can shame people over developing an audience they (thought) they would make more money faster, and score points with the Left who was giving them money during Covid. They became in affect propaganda for Left leaning causes - because it was easier. They don't realize fans have a choice and will leave beloved IPs when not treated right. Hard lessons, lets hope they realize what is happening before it is all burned to the ground.

These non scripted lines and acting is what makes the original movies so good. RDJ character fits perfectly, and gives a more comedy tone to what otherwise could be a very hard drama. The one scene that they should have kept was when he dies in End game and all the avengers, including Thor (a god) kneel to show their last respect as he saved the universe.

The shawarma scene at the end of avengers was so late after the end of filming that Chris Evans had already started working on another movie, one where his character had a beard. So he’s posed in such a way that his hand covers his facial hair which had grown out science filming avengers but couldn’t be shaved.

They could have re-shot the "I am Iron Man" scene and kept 2 alternate versions of the ending for us to discover in the dvd/BR release. This kind of improv has huge concequences for the plot and the production itself. RD Jr took a million gamble on the spot. The credits goes to the writters because they are the ones supposed to build the story around this drastic change.

Here’s a fun fact: Chris Evans in the Shawarma end credit scene looked sad and the reason is because he had to grow a beard for an upcoming movie he was going to be in and they had to put prosthetic make up on him to hide the beard and he said it was very uncomfortable

The blueberry story is basically a perfect illustration why RDJ is the perfect cast for Tony Stark. Tony Stark would be exactly the guy to say "There's your rules, and then there's things that I do, because I don't care about your rules." when you have a great actor and the realisation has the freedom and the gut to "play" with it and let him do his thing, it can creates miracles. For that you need a great cast, that works together and finds that alchemy, you need a production that let´s them impersonate the characters and play with it, you also need a story that allows it. We are lucky all was there for these MCU series of film.

I love all of his improvised lines. I think what makes me love them is bcs all of them lines are what makes him more human rather than just a genius superhero being. I get it why most ppl are convinced RDJ is being paid to play himself. It's somehow very difficult to differentiate btw Tony Stark and RDJ
