I think the way they included Hulk by twisting the Planet Hulk storyline was pretty smart. I'm actually glad they finally gave the Hulk a voice as he's always been a talkative fella in the comics, even the most dumbed down versions of Hulk never seem to STFU, always yappity yappity yap with the Big Green Goliath.

I think the writers realized they dumbed him down too much in the MCU. Comic Hulk has always been intelligent, sometimes had genius level intellect, and could communicate clearly, even in his most primal state he only spoke a few words like "HULK SMASH PUNY HUMANS!" but it got his point across.

Thor's new attitude works for me. He's basically having a mental breakdown after losing his hammer, getting kicked out of Asgard, and then being captured. It's like he's dropped the 'im better than everyone and you're not even worth my time' attitude. Plus he's hung around humans a lot since he was introduced and starting to act more like them. Seriously though it's the best trailer we've ever gotten and this movie looks awesome. Your reaction is kinda strange!

I think Ragnarok has that Guardians vibe because they are hinting at us that Thor will be colliding with Guardians maybe towards the end. Maybe even an after-credit scene or something. Because from what I've heard, Thor was with Guardians at the very beginning of the Infinity War trailer.

That's part of it but it's also just the setting. He's on the Grandmaster's planet. I'd expect Asgard to have a bit of a different look/feel to it but once you leave for the rest of the cosmic universe it should be like Guardians.

The humor in Thor is a reflection of his insecurities. He lost his home, friends, team, and his hammer. This is basically a recharged emphasis on reclaiming his identity. Marvel takes their loses and makes a swerve worth seeing. WWE needs to hire these writers!

What I love about this trailer is thst it feels very 80s. My favorite of the Thor comics, and actually some of the best fantasy scifi, came from the 80s--the same timeframe we get Jem and He-Man, then all the videogame arcades. Then those effing paintings. That looks like every high fantasy book cover Ive ever seen. So freaking beautiful.

Or it could be called the 'Thor-force' as the Odin-force origin is from when Odin and his brothers fought 'fire lord sutur'. Both his brothers die fighting fire lord sutur and he takes their power/force knowing he himself will not be able to defeat fire lord sutur, thus Odin plus the power of his brothers and their fathers and fathers before them equals the 'Odin-Force' or 'Thor-Force'.Odin uses the then called 'Odin-Force' to trap fire lord sutur in Mussplehiem i believe. After seeing both trailers; it seems this Thor was written by someone who had an El Comino full of empty Pabst Blue Ribbon cans and missing bongs. It has that late 70's to mid 80's Heavy Metal vibe. It just speaks of black lights, cigarettes, black velvet, glow in the dark posters, incense, and denim jackets. I can hear Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Dio, Judas Priest, Led Zeppelin (obviously), Iron Maiden, Saxon, and King Diamond. That's the whole vibe I get.

It's got the feel of Guardians of the Galaxy because Thor has finally ventured beyond Asguard and Earth into the Marvel Cosmic Universe, where GotG takes place. Now that we're getting closer to Infinity War, expect a lot more elements of the Cosmic Universe to bleed into the different movies.

The movie' tone is inspired by Jack Kirby's run with The Thor comics back then. I actually think that the visuals are a great addition to this movie since the classic Thor comics were colorful and there's also galactic elements to it as well. The tie in with Planet Hulk and using Sakaar is pretty brilliant from Marvel considering Hulk isn't able to get his standalone. This is going to be a FUN movie above all else and we're finally going to find out who has the Soul Stone for The Infinity Gauntlet in this movie.

It feels like the biggest complaint in marvel is the lack of colour in their films, but now that they are incorporating more colour ppl are saying it's too colourful lol. Whatever can't satisfy everyone. yeah they are making Thor more funny then they have because the last two films were dark but it didn't work for the character, so now they are making it funny. I'm sure it'll still be a dark movie but with just a healthy balance of comedy.

Regarding Thor's personality change, it does make sense in a way. He's spent alot of time with humans now so I don't think it's out of character for him to have adopted some of our mannerisms and sense of humour. My main complaint with the second movie was that Thor didn't have much of a character arc like he did in the first. It seems like he might change more in this one i.e seeing his relationship with Banner (or more specifically forming a friendship with Hulk) evolve and seeing him go "god mode" at the end there.

I think they're going the route hinted at in Thor and Avengers. Loki is a good guy in his own way. He knows what Thanos is up to and trying to stop it, but knows no one will believe him. It was clear in avengers if you payed attention that Thanos wasn't any kinder to him than he was to his daughters Nebula, and Gamora. Plus it's been confirmed Loki is in the third Avengers movie. I hope they stick somewhat close to the plot of the original story where Thanos wins. Only happenstance and Nebula getting the Gauntlet when he takes it off saves the day.

Marvel changed their cameras since Doctor Strange so all the movies onwards are more colorful. It is not necessarily because they are trying to look GoTG, even though making the movies look more alike makes sense, because Infinity Wars. Also, Chris Hemsworth, wanted the Thor movies to be more funny since he started out as Thor, but others wanted a more serious approach. I am actually glad Thor Ragnarok is going to have more humor in it.

The colors are going to be different because they are in another galaxy and everything is different. They are in the same Universe as Starlord and his crew are in. IMO I think Marvel is doing a fantastic job this phase. It seems like they are attempting better efforts at development, story, and villains. Everything looks better as well and even creativity (in the style at least) for individual films. I felt like around the time James Gunn and the Russo brothers came in, then short after Josh Whedon left, Marvel took a small but better turn and developed a little bit more of and interesting universe. The jokes sometimes can still be a bit much but everything else around it got an upgrade so it working out.
