The funny thing is that people that don't red comics are comparing this to guardians of the galaxy, but this is pure Thor. especially if you read Thor comics from the 80's. The Simonson run of Thor heavily inspired this movie

Hulk's wearing armor like he did in the Planet Hulk comics where the Illuminati send him away from Earth and then he passes through a wormhole and crashes on the planet Sakaar!! There they place an obedience disk on Hulk and take him into slavery to fight in gladiator battles for the emperor Red King!! Of course most of this isn't going to happen and they're going to change a lot for this movie but this is the closest we're getting to a live action movie for Planet Hulk so I'm cool with it!!!

it's the song, the overall tone, the comedy, the brighter colors, the center framed shots, the 80's feel to some of the graphics/fonts. plus it's such a departure from how the first 2 thor movies were marketed, and it's coming on the heels of a big GotG2 marketing blitz. it's an apt comparison
