Hey ScreenCrush! I wonder why Capcom hasnt attempted to get in on the action of shared universes. They have a huge roster of characters and lore, and while its not as deep as decades of comics, its still significant! They've also done a lot of .vs Marvel with fighting games. I realize it would be quite the undertaking, but with the success of Sonic, Mario, Castlevania and other gaming properties transitioning to media, Capcom could be sitting on a goldmine of untapped adaptations.

Also, Ryan, Wanda isn't to blame for the Nigeria incident. When Crossbones started the attack, he was specifically after Captain America for his damaged face. When Crossbones started talking about Bucky, Steve chose to continue to listen, and he wasn't aware of Crossbones' bomb. Had Steve been more attentive in the moment, he could've prevented the incident in its entirety. The Nigeria biohazard was Steve's fault, not Wanda's. He even admits it to her later when the media is bashing her. However, I wouldn't be surprised if that's going to be the moment where mutants will be hated in the MCU, making Magneto's cause more personal.

Always though it was a splint. His generation abilities should mean he couldn't bleed out.
@benjaminforman890111 ай бұрын
@@warofwrath I figured it as more of a splint too. But whether it's possible for him to bleed out or not, I don't think he'd want a gaping wound on the battlefield. Even if he's immune to most diseases.
@generalilbis11 ай бұрын
@warofwrath Steve has enhanced healing, but only what is naturally possible...he's not rivaling Logan or Wade for how fast a wound would close up, since the latter two are mutants who are basically immortal. Steve would need to bind his arm to prevent blood loss and allow the wound to heal over hours vs. Wade or Logan treating the same wound like a paper cut.
@artheart565211 ай бұрын
I noticed too
@warofwrath11 ай бұрын
@generalilbis definitely doesn't rival Logan or wade but still better than a normal human...my point wasn't that his wound would heal keeping him from bleeding out, but it's canon that his cells generate quickly, then he literally couldn't bleed out since he would be generating new blood as fast as he was losing it...still probably not a good idea to let slick blood get all over everything though.

We never shut up about it. Took leave a week before Endgames release, because the anticipation was honestly making me almost demented and i couldn't focus on work tasks etc. Bless my wife, she was very patient and understanding during that time. Excuse my rant, point i was getting to was that you make such relevant important points and connections that i rewatch these with new eyes again. That movie going into Infinity War is why I think Phase 3 will forever be the best part of the MCU.

"A whirlpool of darkness that has that at its center," said Thor about the Mindstone. The Mindstone, a conscious entity that predates our universe planned all of this to create a body for itself. It chose Wanda, the first human to touch an Infinity Stone and live. The events of WandaVision were its preparation for her to become the Scarlet Witch and bind her to that mythical figure's elder god Chthon at Mount Wundagore. Wanda sacrificed herself on that dark deitiy's alter at the end of MOM after destroying every Darkhold in the multiverse. Only a being with multiversal powers could do such a feat and she'd been siphoning America's power for quite some time before her sacrifice. (She learned she could siphon powers from others from Agatha.) I agree Wanda will return as a Nexus being with multiversal powers. But it was the Timestone all along . . . I agree with maybe 90% of your theory. Well done! But the first season of Loki was so uneven, messy and disappointing I couldn't get into the 2nd and just don't care about that messy rewrite of MCU canon, let alone that goofy, unimpressive Kang orchestrated anything that happened previously. Totally unconvinced.

The Kang Dynasty would be a semi perfect way to give us all of those fanboy moments by having the original Kang as he crosses paths with all of the various heroes that would become a thorn in his side... we would get to see him jump from altered timeline/universe to universe and learn his adversaries' weaknesses but also encounter new versions as he does. This would give him the prior knowledge he would need to manipulate these visions to pursue a new path for himself. The potential is there for this to be great. On a side note, if we get the Battleworld I hope Fiege goes all out with variants bringing in the likes of Lou Ferrigno (hopefully to maybe play an older Hulk we know and want to see... Maestro) and maybe bring in Nicholas Hammond who played Peter Parker in the old late 70s The Amazing Spider-Man TV series as a Spider-man: Reign variant. Bring in Thomas Jane as Punisher Kills the Marvel Universe variant. Or bring in Thomas Jane, Dolph Lundgren and Ray Stevenson as members of The Punishers from the futuristic Guardians 3000 universe. Bring in the Fantastic Four actors from the 1994 disavowed Roger Corman film and give them a shot to reclaim those roles but as variants while simultaneously paying homage to all the efforts of those in the past that struggled to bring these great comics to live action. That's not likely going to happen I know.. but still it would be awesome to see them (Marvel) put maximum effort into trying with Secret Wars to connect everything live action that has come before. Again... the potential is there. I just hope they are serious about getting this franchise back on track.

if we really are getting Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Franklin could already exist. It's a long standing theory that the Fantastic Four have secretly been around in the main MCU for quite a while, so Reed & Sue could very well already be married & parents to Franklin. ( btw I'm half joking given Pedro's most famous roles are both a dad to a "magic" child...Din with Grogu in Star Wars and Joel to Ellie in TLOU. )

your spot on by making the connection between kang and the infinity stones...but i think the big difference is that kang isn't using them, he's actually afraid of them...cause like ultron from what-if if thanos didn't destroy the stones he could travel the multiverse and kill off kangs and if thanos was willing to wipe out half of all life to save everyone from the celestials he would definitely hate Kang ...so Kang probably moved things around so that thanos could have all the stones and destroy them...this also explains why there's so many infinity stones in the tva...but if you think about it everyone who used one or all of the stones or has some type of power from the stones are conveniently out of kangs way right now, doctor strange is off planet, wanda is dead, tony is dead, ronin is dead, thanos is dead, starlord doesn't have powers anymore, vision died and came back without the stone, captain marvel and hulk will be more worried about saving people, loki only came back because Kang wanted to use him..Kang could easily say he is the reason the avengers exist and it was all to get rid of the stones which is his biggest threat
@TheYugiohCollector11 ай бұрын
I believe it was suppose to set up Infinity War/ End Game. In Tony's vision the avengers look dead which happened (to half), and Caps shield was in half which also came true. I do not think Kang had nothing to do with that. If he had anything to do with anything, I think it started when hulk busted in the door knocking tony down and giving the Tesseract right to Loki's Feet.

*I JUST NOW REALIZED* that He Who Remains actually tricked Loki into becoming the God of Stories and taking his place on the throne. When you mentioned HWR getting released from his *Time-Prison,* it occured to me that MAYBE the only reason HWR was there in the first place was the same as Loki. He was just trying to save his favorite multiverse story or whatever. Now Loki took his spot, so HWR is free to leave and now really crank up his *KANG DYNASTY*
