Well Marvel has the characters to contend with DC, but they aren't the main ones. It's mainly because DC characters are Gods living with Man trying to navigate human life while being able to break everything. And Marvel is about humans who are trying to deal with being a hero and the responsibility that comes with it. The most iconic characters from both publishers (in my opinion) sum it up, Superman can break the world but puts mental blocks to keep his full power away since he didn't want to be a hero. While Spider Man comics literally coined the famous quote "With great power comes great responsibility"

I haven’t watched it yet and I don’t remember much about this one other than the fact her new movie was coming out around this time which I thought might have swayed it. That being said I always figured DC had the more op heroes because everyone gets scaled to Superman through some interaction they had across different comics and the way the saying goes from previous death battles was “dc has the strongest heroes but marvel has the strongest humans”. Unless this is some other stupid moment from the silver age (And don't let me start about silver age Wonder Woman, who single-handedly pulled a sun, which is 333000 times heavier than Earth), the only example even remotely similar to what everyone is talking about here is the moment when Thor was immobilized by a spell for which he claimed weights as much as 20 planets. Sure, he eventually broke free, but escaping the spell with great effort does not equal lifting 20 planets with one, two or twenty hands. Besides, Thor is a very boisterous warrior prone to exaggeration for dramatic effect, so no way to tell how hard it was pressing him anyway. And even if we give him all the benefit of a doubt in the world and accept it really did weight as much as 20 planets, 333000 is absurdly higher than 20, and his greatest feat of strength pales into nothingness next to Wonder Woman's. He’d certainly handle her better nowadays then he would a few years back but one mustn’t forget Wonder Woman has faced the likes of Superman, Doomsday, Professor Zoom, and Darkseid and lived to tell about it. Hell, she’s even beaten some of these characters on more than one occasion. All of them can easily be compared to Thor, as well as surpass him (i.e. Superman and Darkseid). Also, her weaponry would still prove to be deadly to Thor. Especially her signature sword. I would say more times than not, Wonder Woman can still bag a victory against Thor. The best Thor can do would be to fight Wonder Woman to a standstill. But, even I can say Thor is capable of defeating Wonder Woman, just not quite as easily as one may think.
