Fuck it. Let them all off. At the time there were no set rules or regulations, So I think it's unfair to ban any of them for life. Although what they did was without a doubt morally wrong, they didn't technically break any rules. So with that being said, a life time ban is unjust in my opinion. Valve should have known when they made skins they made scenarios like this possible. They should have implemented clear cut rules right from the beginning. And tbh valve doesn't even give a fuck! When the story was all speculation they didn't do shit, but once there was hard evidence they HAD to do something or else they're basically telling everyone they can throw all they want. Just unban them, they didn't break any rules... But, make it crystal clear that if something like this happens again, with ANY players, it's a life time ban forever.

Actually the deal Hiko was making before Ska joined C9 was 3 members of Liquid were going to join Hiko and Ska in a new org. The 3 Liquid players decided last minute to back out of the deal. Hiko's main plan was not going to happen and Ska told Hiko that C9 gave him an insane offer. Hiko told him to go for it. Hiko said all this on stream after Ska joined C9

To start off I'm not a ska fan boy. I am just curious. To my understanding skins had not been tracked as part of throwing evidence before. I feel that if it was known that the skins would be or could be tracked for this more would have backed out at the conception. This coupled with the fact that there seemed to be a lacking of clear consequence and rules about it allowed the plan to come to fruition.The problem is it seems that ska was given the golden goose for a chance at redemption... but did he consider it as evidence to not accept? Do you think that it is possible that after the story had broken and the witch hunt began that ska may have refused payment because of guilt or dirty feelings? maybe his indifference had to do with a minor feeling of guilt. or maybe its possible that he felt MORALLY obligated to refuse payment for this wrong rather than just to save his ass? what do you think of this speculation?

Ska not buying an awp could have just been an unintended consequence of dazed and steel throwing. If dazed and steel were buying awps all game long, there's no real reason for ska to pick up a second (on the T side) or a third (on the CT side). In fact, it would have looked even more suspicious if the team were running double and triple awp setups constantly. At least with Ska not buying an awp, the players could have said "oh we were trying some sort of new setup and ska wanted to practice his rifle" or something of the sort. Food for thought.

Even if 2 or 3 out of 5 were against the throw, they did it anyway because not only was the ones wanting to throw were the leaders, but it was a $20,000+ dollar throw. They deserved the ban. Throws were very rare before CS:GO because you didn't have this skin betting stuff affecting games so much.
