QVARFOT is on its way to me. And I'm thinking of the Agdor splitter. Nice video, thanks!

@@Thoristesting It has already arrived, I have tried it and my experience is good. It’s completely different than what I’ve experienced with an ax so far. But in addition to Qvarfot and Hultån, i also want a 2lb, 28 "ax. Thank you and I wish all the best!

@@Flagellator Hi, Have you ever tried it for felling trees approximately 20-25cm in diameter? How it works?

Nice testing! I got the same splitting axe and I love to use it for splitting small wood for my home fireplace. If I am „outdoors“ I am using my Gränsfors Vildmark hatchet or the German Bison 1879 small hatchet. Best from Germany!

Hallo MS Gränfors is also very good, but if you get a hand on Hultafors Premium you should try it, exsalent, I have not tryede Bison yet, I must try to ge hold on one! :)

Excellent video! How would your forest axe compare to the GFB Swedish axe?

Love the Swedish axes from Hultafors & Gränsfors. Excellent workhorses for Scandinavian forrest, and for splitting wood or other small tasks and will last for generations if taken care of.

I totally agree, I got my first Gränfors ax 25 years ago and it still work like a new ax :)

Hi, Have you ever tried the Qvarfot for felling big trees approximately 20-25cm in diameter? How it works?

The splitting hatchet was defeated by a wee knot. Yike.

How hard are the bits on the Hultafor premium axes? Can you grind it with a file or is too hard ? I am just curious.

Hi Sam, Its not that hard, I use a regular ax puck to sharpen my ax, and it works fine :)
