@@peigonthings4265 yes you can place the Lynel somewhere with a bomb underneath it to prevent it from teleporting away 🤣. Also, if you drag the gerudo who rents you a sand seal to the gerudo canyon stable then rent a seal while riding a horse, the seal will spawn on your location. Kill your horse to get off. You can carry the seal with a metal chest or by riding it on a patch of grass, main roads in central hyrule, and on all sandy shores 🤣.

Yeah, I also "almost defeated ganon" without knowing it was him. I was just casually exploring the castle and the cutscene started. I defeated the first form and halfed the health of his last form, but I just casually soft resetted the game cause I don't really have the intention to finish the story without finishing the side missions, or so what I thought back then.

Link is a walking god at endgame, bare in mind. Making a hard boss at this point would have been a challenge. TOTK solved this with an endgame boss that literally trolled the player.

It's kind of a weird shame; I've never attempted something like this, but videos I've seen often seem to show that, once they've been engaged for a certain time frame, and kited to a location far enough from where they are meant to be encountered, their AI just shuts off. They don't attack; not even you, and nothing seems to jolt them back into action. As an aside, I think it could be neat to see a mod of the end fight, where additional threats are presented, in the Dark Beast Ganon fight. Maybe electric keese, to try and shock equipment from your hands, or mounted bokos with bows. I feel that the "challenge" was meant to be composite-Calamity Ganon, and the battle with DB was more just tacked on, but I wish he did ANYTHING; summon in some servants. Make shockwaves around himself, like the Lynel's plummet strike, so you need to time getting in close, and then bolting away, to fire. I appreciate this being easy, but I feel it didn't HAVE to be so easy.
