Good round up. I lived on Sandway close off Sandway avenue as a teenager. The bungalow behind the bus stop was a shop that sold all sorts, wool, sweets etc it was called Bungalow Stores! The village is twice as big now but they have some very good community events like bonfires. The Fox does a great takeaway called Fox in a Box! Nice place to live.

6:10 As you mentioned, the pharmacy was the post office. As a young teenager, I was a paperboy in the village - heading off from here on cold winters mornings. Happy times (seriously!).

I'm glad someone thinks so. I got a horrible comment about it on Facebook earlier (about the village, not aimed at me), basically saying its a dive and full of undesirables. Not a bit of it. I thought it was ace!
