Here is a play through of the brand new Thorpy FX ER-2 Univibe
The great thing about ER-2 is it gives you classic Univibe Tone without compromising the high end. Many Univibe style pedals almost sound like you’ve rolled the tone knob back when the pedal is engaged but ER-2 maintains the clarity.
Another great thing about ER-2 is it gives a few wild sounds reminiscent of the Thorpy FX Pulse Doppler but in a simpler package.
For this demo/playthrough I took a looser approach and just spun knobs for the demo portion instead of just playing a few presets. I had a lot of fun with the Pre-Jam reminiscent of a Robin Trower Classic. The Prejam also featured Thorpy’s Scarlett Tunic Pedal. The Strat I’m playing features Mark Foley Big Iron Low Wind pickups.
I’m playing an Eddie Wang Polaris Amp made in Portland USA and using a Jodi Head 5.5 inch guitar strap.
