Thorsen's first round is the best loop set when it comes to live freestyling (Tioneb, Penkyx and others have done this style as well). When I first heard his round years ago, I remember also not feeling it towards the end of his round but when I heard it over again I saw it as an encore ending as a guitarist would smash his guitar lol. And shout out to MB14 for the reggae vibes. Best Reggae loop in a battle.

And thorsen did record his loopstation sets on swissbeatbox channel with studio quality session collab with swissbeatbox. The sounds quality is mad. If im not wrong he did record 2-3 tracks in studio after he did gbb. His vocal is so on point btw. Unique vocal.

I've been watching loopstation and beatbox for years so I'm glad you guys are getting into the scene and making these reaction videos. MB14 and Thorsen are total legends here, since you guys are jumping around years and stuff just keep in mind that the talent and technology have advanced drastically in this musical sport. This battle was in 2016 and in loopstation that's a long time ago, so you can appreciate how good these two are even more!

S.1.G., S.1.D.,... You have to understand a couple of things regarding this first round ight? MB14 performed a cover track whereas Thornson performed a freestyle, original track. MB14 had already performed this track numerous times. Thornson performed on the spot. He later went into studio and tried to recreate the original track. After this performance, yes, he may have in fact repeated this battle. All things said, in a live situation, I give the round to Thornson.

Every so often I am able to converse with BreZ about the Beatbox community, and that kid is very very knowledgeable and educated as far as beatboxing and Looping are concerned. My top three favorite Loopers and not in any specific order(not Greatest, just my personal favorites) would be; BreZ, Saro, Sam Perry.
