hi ben, great video again. one aspect i think is important with this one is who will he be good against! the fact he can use his action once per drive means he'll be great against dash teams. I would take him against skaven or wood elves, perfect to cancel the rat ogre, a treeman, or a wardancer!!! but i would not take him against dwarves for Instance. what do you think?

I wouldn't be likely to use Thorsson at the beginning or end of my turn, but in the middle, after my "safety" actions and maybe after my blitz if appropriate, but I'd leave unmoved players, and even hazard losing my blitz, if I thought it would get me onto the ball.

He great 3+ to knock over any opp Star players. I assume his action takes your pass action away for your turn. I think him and Ivar Special power acting the Same turn could be really interesting.

He should have Throw Teammate and the Beer Bores (Beer man pigs) should have had right stuff! This would make him more interesting to the rest of the OWA teams and more useful for the Norse.

Hard agree, the special rule should give him throw team mate after his keg is thrown! Or, he should at least lose drunkard. He can handle the booze, surely.

The rules say, u can either perform a move-, block-, blitz-, or specialaction. passing and throwing teammates, kicking teammates and throwing bombs belongs to special actions. these allow u to move this special action does not until now.

If he's not "standard lineman size"d character, I would maybe think he's smaller than a normal player, not bigger.. just guessing from the size from the barrel. And we've already seen the bear boars compared to other players. If anything, I would assume they had the same size barrel. The turnover on a 1 is pretty obvious, I don't think that'll be FAQ'ed. Without it, he would probably have "secret weapon", which would have made him worse.

I don't know what the GW dev team was thinking when they created the norse team or the star players, but these are pretty lack luster IMO. All I see Thorsson being is a huge target. If I were playing against this guy he would be on his back as soon as I could manage it. As with yetee star player this one seems over priced by quite a bit IMO. So it doesn't say he actually uses his PA stat, so does he incur -1 for each tackle zone?

You can't move. Each figure gets one action per activation, that's it. The rules define move action, block action, blitz action, special action. Bombardier is a special action, that involves a pass, so it telling you that you can't move is basically there to tell you running pass doesn't work, etc. This is not a pass, therfore there's no reason to include that you can't move, since it's just redundant

I would go with him not moving but it doesn't cause a turn over..... but for 170k..... he ain't kreek. He would look great throwing the beer boar.

Strange player. Sort of a sudo bombadeer. I guess he will have a use against blodge surehands players. I'd probably still take the sheep over him for a defensive player at that price poinr as you get a decent blitzer too
