Its where the idea for elves came from in the first place was there were humans who had it, and to compensate for the strangeness of their ears, they poured more effort into their other features to draw attention away. Sorta gave off a fey look in the end, but it made them popular.

And most people have made comics of different versions of Luz and Amity but it's a lot better to think that when they grow up they just become the beta versions of themselves. I'm not familiar with this particular comic, but the writer did a GREAT job of summing everything up. This looks wonderful. It looks like it would be great for all school age kids, even those who can't read (their parents or an older sibling could read it to them). I was an elementary school teacher for 25 years (and I even did a semester as an 8th grade teacher), and lots of my students would really love this. I had the largest classroom library in my state, and I'd have multiple copies of this in book form in my library. I still read kids' books that catch my eye, like "The Okay Witch" and its sequel.

this is a great and fun Idea but as great a friend Luz is I don't think all these kids would abandon their home-like feeling at hexside just for her. they didn't have as little bonds to their school in the demon realm as Luz had in the Human realm, and everything just got back to normal in the BI it could take years for people to think past the place and the people in it.
