For Ramadan, I mostly read the translation of the Arabic,for those sura I had memorized, were more meaningful,I feel very guilty of not knowing what the Arabic means as I recite,Allah have mercy on me

Usually I read Qur'an each verse one time in Arabi and its meaning thrice in Tamil. So far I completed five times and now proceeding with sixth time. I am also telling others to read / hear Qur'an so. Alhamdulillah.

Praise be to Allah. I and a few of my muslim friends decided to go as jamaath for one day once in a month. Having gone 55 times, completed Qur'an one time with meaning by reading / hearing each verse one time in Arabi and its meaning thrice in speaking language - Tamil. Again having gone 32 times, completed 20 chapters of Qur'an as second time. Read / heard 600 hadiths and met 85 persons in the street compaign and told them to read / hear Qur'an with meaning of the verses. We are continuing this individually and collectively daily and periodically.

Reading the Al-Qur'an means to understand the true meaning, the correct interpretaion and with up 100 % attempt to practice the do's and don't in tge Qur'an.

May Allah accept EVERYONE's recitation and reward them, regardless of understanding it. Islam and the Quran are for ALL of humanity. Not all of humanity are Arabic-speaking people (as ignorant non-Muslims often think they are), so therefore it takes and requires much more effort on the part of a non-Arabic speaking person (even Arabic Speaking Persons have difficulties with understanding the full meaning of the Quran as they have told me) to learn, read, and memorize. The Quran is the word of Almighty Allah and is written in the most efficient and meaningful way - If you rely on your local Mullah - you will be in trouble :). DO YOUR OWN BEST to get a good and solid understanding of the Quran - don't rely just on ONE person's interpretation - THIS is why EDUCATION is so critical to a Muslim - YET we have anti-Islam groups like ISIS, Taliban, the Wahhabis, and others of the past try to stop people from learning - they close and burn down schools, they prevent kids, girls, women, and men from attending higher education, universities to get a real education - ALLAH IS ALL KNOWING and ALL SEEING as to what is happening and will reward them accordingly. I hope that Allah rewards those deprived of opportunities to learn the Quran properly and from having the education to have a broad mind and understanding - my Question is why should we have only a few SCHOLARS in the world, why should that be the only option? WHY NOT WE ALLOW EVERY MUSLIM to be a scholar - to be FULLY educated in EVERY SUBJECT and ASPECTS so that we can UNDERSTAND the Quran BEST and what ALLAH has created for us - the earth, life, heaven, hell, and all - ISLAM's number ONE priority for a HUMAN is EDUCATION - The first word from Angel Jabriel to our great prophet Mohammad PBUH was IQRA !!!!! READ - and Qalam - THE PEN - READ and WRITE - HOW CAN WE ALLOW any brainwashed, misguided Mullah, and uneducated person living on the side of a mountain with a gun who cannot even perform 2 rakat Salah properly, or groups of them to TAKE this ALLAH given RIGHT and DUTY away from us? WE MUST NOT allow them.

Correction* For لا ينبغي you wrote 'not incumbent' when it should say 'not befitting' 'Not incumbent' implies only unlegislated, but 'not befitting' gives the meaning of disliked, which is what the shaykh intended

I believe that Shaykh Al-Fawzan said that during Ramadaan, it is better to favour quantity of recitation over tadabbur, as there is a benefit in the recitation itself that we do not perceive. I heard this from a reliable Salafi brother. Please verify this, Brothers?

Yes, you are right. That was specific to Ramadan whereas this video is talks about in general, not Ramadan specifically. May Allah guide us and keep us steadfast

Allah revealed Qur'an in Arabi for us to follow. Qur'an with.meaning of the verses of the Qur'an is available in most of the languages. It is our responsibility to read / hear Qur'an with translation. The Islamic Scholars, ulama should bring awareness among the peoples in this regard and encourage them.

Allah is above Arsh, does not mean He almighty is sitting on it. He is above Arsh in such way which suits HIM, we don't know the type we just believe as Allah told us in Quran and as Sahaba (ra) believed and did not ask unnecessary questions. And HE is exceptional, nothing like creation.

Yes, that's true. So why don't you? Sò, stòp saying 'Aisyàh (ra) was màrrìeď 6 yeàrs àfter she was bòrn. Còz that's wròng. Any tèxtuàl tàfsìr is wròng. Allah and Rasulullah (saw) wouldn't ùrgè you tò pòndèr if you can just fòllòw the tèxt.
