His response to the news person comparing what he said to a kid in Africa was poor, as he was directly talking about people from a capitalist country. Everyone in a country that practices capitalism has the option to dig themselves out of their situation and become financially stable. I agree with him, there are quite a few millionaires I look up to (not all are in public light) but they've gone from nothing to millionaire, it's amazing to see that that is something the average Joe can accomplish.

The lie detector person knows the questions, but also doesn't know the answers unless they are 100% honest. So no, the family wouldn't know unless he told them all questions + every answer he gave himself before the show. Plus Mark also said contestants could always change their answer. Even if Catia was there during the lie detector tests pre-show and heard the questions, he could've just said a lie, and then on the show say the truth for the money. Cause the contestants themselves will never be revealed the lie detector tests answers, so if he knew he lied on the test and it would come back as a lie, he could switch to the real answer on the show aswell. In most cases, its very unlikely she knew.

My aunt just left right before the gifts and gave me a gift card that was for anything, not even something. Just money basically. Pathetic, honestly. And that’s one of the many reasons my “aunt” isn’t my “aunt”. She’s just some wacky woman that my grandmother birthed. Honestly nobody but my sister even likes her. It’s really funny, but I wish they would just clown on her, like say rude things without it being obvious. That would be priceless. Sorry for the personal story, just thought of a party I felt ruined like the woman on that show did, seeming understandable why she was likely mad, even if what she said sounded really stupid.

Y'all should definitely check Extreme Sisters on TLC 😭😭 It's so stupid. For eg. In one episode , one of the sisters (they're twins) had a cavity in her tooth and they went to the dentist. The dentist said that it's imp to take that tooth out . The second sis says If ShE wIll GeT a ToOtH reMOvED I'll gEt iT ReMoVED tOo voz we want to expirence all things in life ✨together ✨ likeeeee ma'am ✋😐?!? My dad lived in extreme abject poverty. Had no shoes. Had no socks. Ate 5 meals a week which would consist of food they grew at home and if they are lucky some fish they caught themselves. His school had no buildings they lived under trees. He grew up during Idi Amins regime. No clean water. They fetched their water from a swapy lake every morning. No electricity. He was one of 10 kids. No father. Uneducated mother.He lived in those grass hits you see on television about Africa because yes they are very real. Barely any clothes. But he still made it. I could you not, him, all his brothers and his entire friend group all made it. They are all rich now. So it is possible. Highly unlikely but still possible.
