Momma v when stacking your wood square stack the ends so it don't fall or stCk between trees and run a rope to the trees so you can put a tarp over the rope to cover your wood and plus it will help shed the water away from your wood plus let it keep drying because it's not realing resting on the wood

I wouldn't bother stacking it really why handle it so many times. It's in a good pile cover it w a tarp and be good to go. Atleast any snow ya all get melts in a few days. Nice truck load of wood. That wouldn't last long in Michigan. Our winters are too cold and too long. Even if you lived in your tiny cabin.
@jacquelinewells757516 күн бұрын
Glad you found someone you can trust to get some good wood from. Maybe one day, after or maybe before, you finish the cabin you can find a spot to build you a wood house. Maybe just big enough to hold maybe 4 cords of wood. I saw someone that did that and put down pallets and stacked it on each side as you walk in. I believe they did two long, tall, rows on each side. Once finally full and stacked on each side you’ll be good with good dry wood from winter to winter as you slowly refurbish it and don’t have to worry with running out. I know it’s gonna be some time before you can do something like that but would be nice. Looks like your definitely set up for this winter that’s for sure! Happy New Year!!🎊

What y should do is go wear you got your windows & see if they have bags of Concrete mix for cheap and you can spread that around on your drive so you don’t get stuck and when the sun comes out it will soak up and dry like hard concrete and you’ll have a good place to park your car

That's some good looking wood. Nothing like warming by a wood stove in the winter. I use to have a problem withy wood falling down on the end until I done a cross hatch column of wood on the ends.
