@matt This series got me to try putting volume into tournies. I have a $70 bankroll on a site and i played 21 tournaments ranging from $.11 - $2.20. I lost $8. Now i have $62. Im crushing.

If you have the patience to play an .11 cent tourney you're already winning bossman

While I can understand your frustration at the run bad, what I think is commendable and differentiates pros from casuals is how it hasn’t seemed to effect your play. Run good is on the way. Loving the content, king

Buy a new bench bro, that bench will mess up your back. Why do you think your back is always tight/ has tension ? It’s that bench. I’m telling you from experience I had the same bench it took me over a year to realise. Thanks for the content this series keep it up, I love watching MTTs. Everyday you remind me why I’m a cash game player

😂 You didn’t need to, I’ve got PTSD from that bench lol, its featured in your vlogs the whole month I wasn’t gna say anything but the series is ending and I’ve enjoyed your content so it’s the least I could do. Its my way of saying thank you 😉

Loool, overall he has a good set up, I’m jealous of his rack that’s the one thing I don’t have. We should definitely nitpick at his set up for banter that would be so funny

I wonder if I lose 20 times 1ok and then win 300k so after one month of work I have a profit of 100k is it worth it..??? or is it more worth to be a little bit happy every day (doesnt matter how) for the rest of my life...I like u a lot bro and fully respect what u doin but.....maybe there is still sth. outside for you except poker..

Matt… i really like watching your stuff but it’s so frustrating sometimes. Why are you shoving AQ off into a 4BB pot after a raise for 29 BBs in a 1k tourney? I’m not as good as you, so I could be wrong, but this series it really seems like you are punting too much and having to rely on flips. You’re a good player, so outplay people!
@matthewstaplespoker5 ай бұрын
Me taking profitable reshoves should not frustrate you my friend. AQo AKo, some pocket pairs and some suited broadways all do quite well as shoves for this stack depth and these positions. The ability to outplay people with offsuit combos and shallow stacks out of position is overestimated in this spot IMO.
@matthewstaplespoker5 ай бұрын
FWIW your mindset can be fine in that you assume you have an edge and should look to utilize it with good exploits and edge passing and postflop etc but this isn’t one of those spots imo.

Fair enough, and appreciate you took the time to explain. Just thought I’d point out what I was seeing incase it was something that was going under the radar and could help.
