TED talks used to be reserved for some of the best of the best on the lecture circuits. As they expanded to different venues throughout the globe, they needed more and more speakers...and it seems the vetting process was decentralized. Look at at the ratio of women to men in the front row who nod and agree throughout the video. They are friends, fans, or actors who have been organized to smile and nod. The people in the front row are plainly visible and lit on purpose while everyone else is in total darkness. It's audience positioning. Statistics. There's a lot more going on in this video than is verbally expressed so that you, the viewer, will agree with him too. Basic propaganda 101.
