THAT level on this run was interesting; it was a "fair" super hard enemy spam level. You never seen those. Like, enemy spam levels almost never have good sightlines, and 2/3rd of the time have a hidden dev star and stupid enemy stacks.

I really liked the Kaizo College levels you played in MM1, was cool seeing how the techniques are setup, and that they tended to include a secret "fast path" for if you got it down solid on the first trick you could go straight to the goal.

The third level may or may not be related to a movie from the early 2000s called "treasure planet" and also coincidentally the makers name had jim in it who is the main character along with the yellow platforms or (gold) like it was in the movie when it all crumbled away into the core of the planet. This most likely may not be the case but a weird coincidence but i really hope someone sees this comment and goes to watch disneys treasure planet because it is really a hidden gem that stood the tests of time and sadly it didnt make enougb money on release day due to the different movies overshadowing it,and also the amount of 3d the movie was able to throw out quite remarkably well. I do hope youns give it a watch =]

the last boss was actually cool, using an easy koopaling with such scenario. however, for the level you maybe create, i would suggest an hard one yes, BUT not a fake speedrun. i mean, most of your levels are pure platform, but you need to hurry constantly to maintain mementum in jumps making actually speedrun-like, you can't stop basically never even if the timer is huge. wish for a platform one but you could rest sometime in the level (if you're not super good) but could still do in one motion if you're good enough

Throwing another level idea in the ring- a main world that is traditional and meandering with subworlds that are tight platforming challenges. You get powerups from completing subworld challenges that can help you beat the enemies before the goal, or with skill you can find in subworld a secret exit. Btw, thank you for the special hat, the fact that you didn’t call attention to it made it even more of a blessing

6:55 , oh it's totally worth it to play an amazing level made from you! On the other hand someone like me making a level will not get many plays because I'm not super active in the community and might just get two random guys that try a dozen times and quit and that's all the plays I ever get on something. But too lazy to submit to streamers so it's my bad. Anyhow, you'll get thousands upon thousands of people trying your level so it's totally worth it for everyone that gets the pleasure of playing it man! 1st level reminded me of that one DKC2 swamp level with the ghosts overhead throwing junk down--a spammy version. Having Lakitu be Fishing Boo in the ghost theme would be neat. 9:15 Yes 5:34 No 22:31 Oh, I stand corrected! Yes, indeed. 8:20 Dapper much? 15:25 I expected the slime to keep rising. That would have made an interesting time crunch addition to the level. 18:20 ...Uh, yeah. 16:42 Everyone saw the end result of wanton coins collection a mile away.

You know what, Ryu, I think you ought to consider making a moderate difficulty traditional level or two! Maybe see how hard you can flex that particular creative muscle. It's tough to make things fun when you're not relying on high-level execution as the main play hook. It'd be cool to see what you came up with.

Try making an easy level that kids will enjoy. In my experience making an interesting noob friendly level is hard because I always overestimate their abilities and tailor it to my skill level instead. Make it interesting, creative, and aesthetically pleasing. Maybe have multiple challenges to choose from where the harder options are short cuts. Basically, try to make a level that Nintendo themselves would make. The youngling will feel proud to have completed your level, and the elders will fight for the world record time.

I think Ryu is an amazing Mario player - but level creator, I'm not sure I've tried enough to really judge. The trick is to not make a trolly course or 'Conditioned' one but also let your creativity really roam a bit and not make 'the usual' course like a speedrun or zillionth kaizo bore course. Traditional but with a neat twist or as he said 'elevated' would be a solid route to go with.
