3:47 Pretty sure you're wrong here. If you actually look at that area at the start of the level, there are tracks that indicate the platform going to the right hole so you can land in there safely and while doing that the platform probably also lifted up another mushroom that was hidden behind the saw in the second hole. So that's why there is a mushroom there and you can grab it safely.

Like where you die, and it changes the entire level where you were at. How is that made? How do they go about perfecting the shell surf parts. Stuff like that. You could go over old episodes and show how it''s done. It could lead to a revolution in mario maker level creation. Just be sure to give me my credit. 😏
