Thoughts on 1 piece rear main seal conversion.

Could you help me out. I have a one piece 3.0 mercruiser block. I spun a rod bearing and bought another crank from marketplace. Turns out the new crankshaft is a two piece seal. Can I somehow make it work ?

Ever done this with a 289/302 block?? Ive had a couple early blocks, rope seal originally, be real trouble makers in the leak dept.
