Thank you, John! incredible summations. I would tend to concur with you seeing how the biblical trend reveals that YAH always selects the The younger over the older brother to lead for the younger brother to serve the older brother. Lots of great morsels here to ruminate on. Shalom Alechim

That was great John. Seeing how Benjamin ended up so closely tied to Judah, I’ve often wondered if because of his guilt Judah tried to atone by being very good to Benjamin and they bonded in a special way. Your thoughts

Well that's certainly possible. There is a special relationship that is forged. I think it's equally possible that Judah woke up and smelled the coffee, he realized he loved his brother, much the same way he came to realize Tamar had been more righteous than he was in Gen 38. :)

@ Thank you John for your response and insight. I agree that he loved Benjamin and after his anger subsided I would think he realized he loved Joseph too. If Joseph was 17 when he was sold and it was another 17 years (if I remember correctly) before his brothers went to Egypt would it be safe to say that Benjamin was most likely in his 20’s or older? If you have anything on that I’d love to know. Have a blessed week.

Also the song “100 years” that he referenced is by the band called Five for Fighting 😂 (he mentioned 5 a lot)
