Thoughts on Mark Hamill's private autograph signing and convention prices?

I was a Autograph collector but the prices have got out of hand , I have gotten autographs for around 10 to 20 bucks in the past and these were big stars and now the autographs arr breaking the banks of the fans from the rich movie stars that make them stars and fan base

100 for Connery sgd photos is reasonable , at least for vintage (got 2 Bonds : TB & DAF)

you know what? it is too high but it's Luke Skywalker. I would do it because all the ones on eBay and the topps tek cards are too high. His autograph to me is a holy grail.

Thanks for watching this channel over all these years. I REALLY appreciate it. He just did one with OfficialPix, I'll try and give you a heads up on his next signing when he does one. In the meantime you can find his auto for less on eBay if you look for his comic "The Black Pearl", every once in a while these pop up and usually sell for under $30.00. Good luck man!

I think most autographs on the pop culture, comic, horror, and sc-fi convention circuit are way overpriced. But the problem is, people are paying those prices and the demand is only going higher. I think eventually it will bubble, and prices should drop, but some of the prices that Mark, Walking Dead people, and the Marvel actors command at conventions is bat shit crazy.

Yep, I remember the first comic con I went to was right after season or maybe 2 of Walking dead and norman reedus I believe was 40-50. Last I heard he is charging 100.00. Also.... Two months after the con I got his autograph via ttm lol, oh well. I think you are right, it will bubble. Unfortunately, I think it's going be a while before that happens.

I paid the $100 for Stan Lee to sign my Spider-Man "Black Cover - 9/11 issue" because I don't want to one day look back and regret not doing it when I had the opportunity. Yes I thought that was expensive... but also a once in a life time thing.

Most people complains about the prices, but they still pay the money so they are still part of the demand trend. Also, their managers takes advantage of their star power.

$250 at SW celebration this year. Crazy expensive and the experience kinda sucked. They rushed us through and I didn't even get eye contact let alone a hello from Mark, but I really wanted my graflex signed by Luke. Actually, Celebration sucked in general. ReedPop is the worst.

Yeah, I got a feeling it's going to keep going up too. He will be the new Harrison Ford autograph cost. That's too bad they rushed you through, but glad you got autograph you wanted.

i gladly payed i believe $100 at NYCC a few years back,i figure it may be my only chance and he is my childhood hero,so it justified it for me. i think much more than that i might have to pass. i guess it depends on how much you want it,also it is odd that different conventions like celebration at the price doubles.

wtf bitching about 125 to meet him and get his autograph? im poor and i would shit that out in a second. when am i ever going to meet him living in Pennsylvania and i can't afford to travel...He answered a question of mine on twitter and i am still so grateful. Consider yourself lucky you can even go there and see him.

I am a big fan of Mark he is is cool,I think it all depends on how much you want it I would buy,but then I am his fan!Don't forget the next movie will make his signature more valuable. And I live in the Caribbean, a long way off 125.00 I would pay.

His autograph is now $250 a pop. The most I paid for an autograph so far was Stan Lee... $100. Maybe $200 is the most I would pay for one autograph.

Margot Kidder was 30-35? and and an extra $2 for COA. $125 bucks was most of my convention autos at 25-35 each.

I think you're right about the insanely high prices for just one autograph. See, I love Mark Hamill to death and would really love to have a personalized autograph, but I can't afford such prices. Sure, on a con you get the chance to even have a talk with him while he's signing, but (please forgive me Mark) no. :/

looks like for a pic and autograph is right around there the autograph alone is 250 i really want it but with getting everyone else autographs i don't think ill be getting it

I wouldn't be against paying more knowing I witnessed the signature. The most I ever paid was $750 for a guy I'm sure most people don't know.

if 100 is too high for you than you need another hobby. Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford are ICONS and they wont live forever so pay what they charge because sadly it will only go up in value when they are gone.
