I have never really cared much for art until I started watching your videos Frank. The content of your videos really brings out a sense of surrealism which I enjoy. Your videos recently made me think that people who felt more disconnected to society are actually closer to the universe and reality in contrast to those who are driven by materialism and the norms of society. I believe it is people like Einstein, who was troubled by his very own existence are the ones who are actually most in touch with reality. It's unfortunate that it is people like these who have the hardest time integrating with society, but thanks to the internet it's becoming easier to connect with others with similar minds.

A friend and I came to a similar conclusion about depression: it must be some sort of subconscious signal within yourself that you can achieve more. I repeat this idea to myself when I find myself having suicidal thoughts, and I feel that I haven't explored all of my life's possibilities. This video reaffirmed me today. Thank you fronk.

Frank, you are a magical being. Thank you for everything, all of this. You've altered my experience in such a uplifting way, eased the sorrows of my mind and brought me back to the simplicity of reality so many times. Although you aren't widely known, the story you've created along with those that support you is one of the most aesthetic and profound creations of the human species up to this point in time; a story of life within the society man kind has created for itself. The story goes on and the knowledge gained will continue to multiply forever.

The piece on awakening after have been in a dark place really resonated with me A couple of years ago I was in an unstable mind set where I felt I had lost control over a part of my sanity It was also around the same time I started going with a girl, I found that the presence of this girl was soothing and made me stop thinking about things that in reality were unimportant. Half a year later we broke up after a few rocky weeks So an unstable mindset added with more or less temporary depression from the break up landed me in a quite a slump Now I didn't meditate on it but I stopped listening music with vocals while exercising in order to talk to myself while I was lifting or boxing. Everytime I exercise I feel bliss and clarity because of the endorphins and the repetitive motions Through this I managed to detach myself from the ongoing situation, I observed the mental pain I was going through from a 3rd person perspective almost I realized it was in a way a ridiculous and almost comical I had let all these things happen to me, I had lost control through my own actions So I embraced the negative emotions and let go of them by accepting that I can't hold all the power and that's fine I live a carefree life for the most part now I still work to better myself and feel stronger than ever, mentally and physically Winning at life or anything isn't how hard you can knock someone down It's how hard you can get knocked down and still stand up Keep up the good work Fronk

Yes, we don't really want to die. We want to be reborn. But for that to happen, we must die- our old self. Our ego. It is a spiritual death we seek, but many may not realize. The ego's shell is strong and convincing. Never wanting you to know that it's actually very fragile, underneath. It is also a great Masquerader. Hiding that we are more. That there is More.

Guys, take it easy in this life. I know it gets tough. I've been there. This is hard to explain, but Ill try. I've never really been depressed, but I have had intellectual conversations with myself concerning what it would be like to take my life, if that makes sense? What it would feel like to 'unwind', to detach from this physical experience. I was angry at the system for a while, angry at the fact that I "have" to "make" money in order to "survive" or "get by" in this physical existence. Sometimes feeling angry at the fact I feel as though I'm in a chess game at times, literally, or a video game. The feeling that I didn't choose to exist, and now I'm forced to. I'm learning now, though, that this physical existence is actually a gift. I know that this whole suicide thing is a very controversial subject, but suicide is murder, because this life is a gift, just like taking someone elses life would be murder. We'll all pass once our time is ready. Until then, this physical existence is just one big learning experience. And you know what, babies who were aborted are still alive as soul in the spirit world and they envy us who got to have an experience on the earth. While in the spirit world (where we'll be once we pass) you have more freedom and no financial worries, there are people there who didn't get to have an earth experience for difference reasons - still born babies, miscarried & aborted children, or those who died early. Suicide is not a returning back to source, it's a cheat, it's murder... Life becomes easier when we connect with ourselves, our true desires and our passions and live through that. This is what many people are missing. This is the key to a more blissful life.

+Nostalgic_Chaos If physical existence is a gift, then you should be able to do as you please with it. To the people that find so much suffering in simply existing that they would rather not exist at all, they should be able to do as they please with their lives, even if it means suicide. While I don't support suicide or advocate it, I understand personally why people have done it. Who are we to tell other people what to do with their lives? Just because its possible that other beings envy us for existing should not mean that you can't do as you please with your own life. There should always be efforts to prevent suicide, but in the end, it is still someone's fundamental right to do as they please with their lives, even if it means ending it.

back to the day I was in depression and have thought of suicide, I was in pain and nobody could help me. I'm not who I wanted to be. I think green helped me. cuz i had deep thoughts with my soul. I was thinking who I wanted to be if I could reborn. I wanna be LeBron James, I want his body, his life. I wanna be successful. I want everything. And I realize I can actually have all the things i want if i work hard in this "life". And as you said, the storm had finally past after a few months. I think we're all suicidal, difference is, instead of death, we're using another less self-harmful method of escape from our simple existential troubles thereby distracting ourselves enough so it doesn't feel so hard once we're forced to face those issues again. Everytime we're placed in some difficult situation, we remind ourselves of the hard times we have overcome to give us the strength and hope that we'll come out unscathed and happy again this time round.

Frank, I don't know if it may be your thing or not. But you should come to some of these bohemian meditation music festivals here in california and trip some acid or shrooms. sure it's becoming a little mainstream now, but there are so many small ones, and when you go on these spiritual journeys you this insane connection to everyone. when you feel that connection with everyone, you feel on another level, another frequency, it helps get over mental obstacles. just a suggestion. check out like lightning in a bottle, symbiosis, etc.

I have watched for a long time. I honestly consider Frank one of the foremost contemporary philosophers of our time, even if the body of his work is probably unknown to the greater "academic" community. The world's sorely lacking in people who have grown up in Frank's (our) age and environment (digital / information age) to reflect sincerely on how these things have profoundly affected us and our human experience. Maybe the only misgiving I have about Frank is that I know that there will probably never be a single "traditional" work that will retain all or most of his thoughts or knowledge, since Frank himself has admitted in the past that the body of his work would span multiple mediums: sculpture, music, video, writing, etc. This will almost assuredly mean Frank would never be regarded by any "normal" philosophical or academic community / body because his expressions are not always presented in a traditional manner. But then again, life is here and now, and we are here and now, experiencing Frank and ourselves here and now. There is immense value in that alone. It will be up to future generations to find their own context in Frank's wisdom, even if it is just the music or sculpture that remains. Even if they are lucky enough to stumble on an archive of his videos, will they truly have a chance at understanding even a small piece of them without the context in which they were created? Still though, who is to say there are not younger people right now who have already been born, yet to stumble on Frank's work, and get mindfucked and be influenced by Frank's work?
